While the CDrom is based extensively on this web site, the CDRom format allows you to browse easily at home without concern over download time or telephone costs. It also allowed us to include for 23 of the sculptures' large animations which were commissioned by Edition Limitée from Nick Mee of Virtual Image, whereas here on the web site we have had to restrict the animations both physically and digitally because of the download time.
For this reason, the animations on the CDRom are both larger and of better quality.
The files on the CDRom are easily copied to a hard disc and so may be used on various machines in an institution. We draw your attention to our liberal licensing rules.
It is inevitably easier to control the look of the pages on the CDRom than when working within the confines of a browser on the web.
